Responsibilities
An Administrative Coordinator in a private Nursery and Primary School is responsible for coordinating the school’s day-to-day administrative activities and ensuring that the school operates efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily administrative and office activities. Maintain accurate records of pupils, staff, attendance, correspondence, and school documents. Assist the Headteacher/Proprietor in implementing school policies and procedures. Coordinate communication between management, teachers, parents, pupils, and external stakeholders. Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, schedules, and general administrative compliance. Support admission, registration, enrolment, and withdrawal processes. Prepare letters, notices, reports, meeting minutes, and other official documents. Coordinate school events, meetings, examinations, assemblies, and other activities. Monitor office supplies, school materials, and basic administrative inventory.
Requirements & Skills
Requirements and Skills for an Administrative Coordinator Private Nursery and Primary School Educational Requirements Minimum of an OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related field. Relevant professional certification in School Administration, Management, Human Resources, or Office Administration is an added advantage. Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant administrative experience, preferably in a school or educational environment. Good knowledge of basic school administration, office procedures, and record management. Essential Skills and Competencies Excellent organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal and relationship-management skills, particularly when dealing with parents, pupils, teachers, and management. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Minimum of an OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
Minimum Experience
2 years
