Is specifically designed for measuring the thickness of metallic and non-metallic materials, e.g. aluminum, titanium, plastics, ceramics, glass, plastics and other good ultrasonic waveguides, provided they have a parallel top and bottom surface. This gauge can be used to determine the exact thickness of pipework for the purpose of proper settings on an ultrasonic flowmeter. The TM-8812 checks a pipe for thickness loss due to corrosion or erosion.
