Benetech GT235 coating thickness gauge is a tool used to measure the thickness of paint and other non-magnetic coatings on both magnetic (iron) and non-magnetic (aluminum) metal substrates.
Measurement Range: 0 to 1800 μm (0 to 70.8 mils).
Accuracy: ±(3%H + 1 μm) for measurements over 150 μm, or ±5 μm for those below.
Smart Identification: Automatically detects whether the base material is ferrous (iron) or non-ferrous (aluminum).
Measurement Modes: Includes single (SNG), continuous (CTN), and differential (DIF) modes.
Calibration: Supports zero-point, offset, and basic calibration to ensure precision.
Measure: Hold the probe perpendicular (90° angle) to the target surface. The device will beep and display the thickness and substrate type (Fe or nFe).
