Kolor Kut water finding paste is used to detect the presence of water in fuel tanks and other petroleum product It can be used to gauge water content in various substances, including: Petroleum and hydrocarbons Sulfuric acid Nitric acid Hydrochloric acid Ammonia Soap solutions Salt and other chloride solutions Gasoline, diesel, kerosene, gas oil, heating oil, and lubricating oil To use the paste, apply a thin layer to a clean rod or string and lower it to the bottom of the tank. The paste will change color where it comes into contact with water, indicating the depth of the water layer. The Kolor Kut water finding paste is used to assess depth and quantity of water in oil and fuel tanks. Benefits: The paste is applied to tank dip stick/gauge rod and lowered through the oil. Paste turns rapidly red on contact with any water present.
