The harmonica, is a small, rectangular wind instrument played by using the mouth (lips and tongue) to direct air into or out of one or more holes along a mouthpiece. Behind each hole are chambers containing free reeds, typically made of brass,stainless steel, or bronze. When air is blown or drawn past these reeds, they vibrate, producing sound.
