PVC Gum
PVC gum, or solvent cement, is used to create strong, watertight, and durable bonds for PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pipes, fittings, and other hard PVC products like conduits and drainpipes. It works by dissolving the surface of the PVC, allowing the pieces to chemically weld together into a single, fused unit as the cement dries. This process, known as solvent welding, creates a bond that is often stronger than the pipe material itself and is resistant to moisture and temperature.
