Foamtec AFFF (Aqueous Film-Forming Foam) is a firefighting foam concentrate designed to suppress and extinguish Class B (hydrocarbon) fires. It's a solution of fluorocarbon and hydrocarbon surfactants blended with solvents and stabilizers, and is typically available in 3% or 6% concentrations. Foamtec AFFF utilizes the film-forming effect to cut off oxygen supply and the oleophobic properties of the foam to prevent reignition.
