Procurement Role

Source, purchase and arrange delivery of fabrics, trims, packaging and other materials required for LAUVE. * Visit markets and suppliers in Lagos to source materials based on quality, colour, quantity and budget requirements. * Compare prices and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices. * Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and market vendors. * Keep accurate records of purchases, prices, suppliers and quantities. * Check materials for quality and accuracy before they are delivered. * Communicate with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, orders and delivery. * Manage and respond to customer DMs and enquiries on Instagram and other social media platforms. * Provide customers with information about products, pricing, availability, sizing and delivery. * Assist customers through the ordering and purchasing process. * Escalate complaints, complex issues or matters requiring the Founder’s attention. * Keep the Founder updated on sourcing, s

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. * Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. * Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently. * Comfortable visiting Lagos markets and dealing directly with suppliers. * Good knowledge of fabrics, trims and fashion production materials. * Fashion-conscious with an interest in clothing and textiles. * Confident using Instagram, WhatsApp and other social media platforms. * Basic computer skills, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel. * Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities. * Honest, trustworthy, reliable and responsible. * Good customer service skills and a professional manner.
