The case is wide open on a wooden surface, revealing two distinct halves joined by a central hinge. The left side of the case features a custom-molded black insert designed to securely hold seven tapered extractor bits of varying sizes. Six of these bits are arranged horizontally in a neat, vertical column, stepping up progressively from the smallest at the top to the largest and thickest at the bottom. Each of these six extractors features a dual-tone design: a black, reverse-threaded tapered end meant to bite into damaged screws, and a polished silver cylindrical shank that terminates in a squared-off black end for a wrench or tap handle to grip. A seventh, very thin and entirely black extractor bit rests vertically in a narrow slot to the right of the main column.
