A knapsack sprayer is a portable spraying device carried on the back, like a backpack, that delivers liquid through a hand-held nozzle. It consists of a tank, a pressurizing mechanism (often a pump), a line, and the nozzle itself. These sprayers are commonly used in agriculture for applying pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, as well as in other applications like fire control and cleaning.
