Maintenance Officer

Responsibilities
Conducting routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. * Repairing electrical, plumbing, air conditioning (HVAC), and mechanical faults. * Performing preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns. * Responding quickly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff. * Maintaining generators, water pumps, elevators (where applicable), and other essential equipment. * Monitoring utility systems such as electricity, water supply, and sewage. * Keeping maintenance tools and equipment in good working condition. * Ensuring all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations. * Coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs or servicing. * Maintaining records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules. * Ordering and managing maintenance supplies and spare parts. * Assisting in emergency situations, such as power outages, water leaks, or equipment failures.
Requirements & Skills
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. * Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently. * Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely. * Basic computer skills for maintenance records and reports. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
1–3 years of experience in hotel maintenance, facility management, or a similar role. * Hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
