Laundry Men

* Sort laundry according to fabric type, color, and washing requirements. * Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing/pressing equipment safely and efficiently. * Use the correct detergents, chemicals, and washing procedures for different fabrics. * Iron, fold, and package clean laundry neatly. * Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to the supervisor. * Deliver clean linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry to the appropriate departments or guest rooms. * Maintain adequate stock of clean linens and report shortages. * Keep the laundry room, machines, and work area clean and organized. * Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of laundry equipment. * Follow health, hygiene, and safety standards when handling laundry and chemicals. * Ensure guest laundry is handled carefully, confidentially, and returned on time. * Work efficiently to meet daily laundry targets and hotel service standards.

Knowledge of laundry procedures, fabric care, and stain removal techniques. * Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, ironing, and pressing equipment. * Understanding of the safe use of detergents and cleaning chemicals. * Good attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning and finishing. * Good organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Basic record-keeping skills for guest laundry and linen inventory.

Minimum of a secondary school certificate (waec/neco) or equivalent. * vocational training in laundry or housekeeping is an added advantage.
