Marconite is a specialist earthing material used to improve the performance of grounding (earthing) systems — especially where normal soil has poor conductivity (rocky, sandy, or dry ground).
It is a conductive aggregate compound supplied as a dry granular material that is mixed with cement and water, then poured around earth rods or conductors.
Description
Marconite is designed to lower earth resistance and provide stable, long-term conductivity in electrical and lightning protection installations. It forms a solid conductive concrete once set, creating a permanent low-resistance path to ground.
Produced by Carbon International Ltd, it’s widely used in power, telecom, and lightning protection projects.
