The jcd382 ultradrive minidocktm can be used with the macbook pro® 13′′/15′′ 2016/2017/2018/2019 and macbook air® 2018/2019. The dock gives you the ability to keep a thunderbolttm 3 port and add several standard connections. The connections include, usb-ctm 3.1 gen 1, 4k hdmitm, usbtm 3.1 gen 1 type-a x2 and a usbtm 3.0 microsdtm and sdtm card reader/writer through the two thunderbolttm 3 male connectors on the other side of the
thunderbolttm 3 uses the usb-ctm connector to deliver faster speeds (40 gbps), more pixels (two 4k) and higher power (up to 100w) via more supported protocols (thunderbolttm, usbtm, displayporttm and pcie).
