Purpose: It produces single or multiple light rays to demonstrate light behavior, reflection, refraction, and the properties of lenses and mirrors in physics classes.
Body: Made of a painted die-cast metal or alloy enclosure with ventilation holes and cooling fins to help dissipate heat from the internal lamp.
Light Source: Houses a low-voltage lamp (typically 12V) connected via a wire with banana plug terminals.
Slit Plate Integration: The open front and internal vertical grooves hold slide plates or masks with single, double, or triple slits to shape the light beams.
