Dimethomorph is a systemic, translaminar fungicide effective against Oomycetes. Key Benefits: •Targeted Control: Excellent against downy mildews (Plasmopara, Peronospora), late blight (Phytophthora infestans), and some Phytophthora root rots. •Protectant + Curative Action: Stops spore germination and mycelial growth; works preventively and early curatively. •Systemic Movement: Translocated in leaves, protects new growth and untreated parts. Rainfastness: Good once absorbed. Resistance Management: Different mode of action; commonly mixed with multi-site fungicides (e.g., mancozeb, copper) for broader spectrum and resistance delay.
