Experience Worker Needed in a Pig Farm

Feed pigs according to the farm's feeding schedule and monitor their daily feed and water intake. Clean and disinfect pig pens, feeding areas, waterers, and other farm facilities. Monitor pigs daily for signs of illness, injury, poor appetite, or unusual behavior and report problems immediately. Assist with administering medications, vitamins, vaccines, and other treatments as directed by the farm manager or veterinarian. Monitor pig growth, weight, and general health and maintain accurate farm records. Assist with breeding, farrowing, piglet care, weaning, and moving pigs between pens when required. Maintain proper hygiene and biosecurity procedures to reduce the risk of disease outbreaks. Keep feed storage areas clean, dry, and protected from pests and contamination. Report damaged equipment, water supply problems, sick animals, and other farm issues promptly. Assist with loading, unloading, and transportation of pigs when required. Ability to maintain proper farm hygiene and follow biosecurity procedures. Ability to keep simple records of feeding, medication, breeding, and pig growth. Physically fit and able to perform routine farm work. Must be hardworking, honest, responsible, and reliable. Must be willing to live and work on the farm in Delta State. Experience working on a commercial pig farm is an added advantage. Formal education is not mandatory if the applicant has strong practical pig-farming experience.
