Perfect recipe for doughnut
500grams flour
120grams sugar
50 grams butter
1 cup water
1 large egg
1tbs yeast
1 tsp nutmeg
tbs> tablespoon
tsp> teaspoon

1) into a mixing bowl , add your water , break in your egg, add yeast , nutmeg .
2). add in butter in bit.
3) add in sugar in bits. then add in flour gradually.
4) set the mixer at low speed to incorporate the ingredients then increase to medium , allow to mix properly for about 10 minutes. you’d know when it cuddles up to form a bowl leaving no flour on the sides of the bowl.
5) allow for another 10 minutes till you get a smooth dough
6) when you notice the surface of your dough is smooth and it's quite different from when you started then you stop mixing
to get a ring doughnut, roll your dough to 2cm thick or double as thick as your fondant.
