TIMOLOL is prescribed for the treatment of high intraocular pressure. It has been demonstrated in clinical trials to lower intraocular pressure in people with ocular hypertension, ocular open-angle glaucoma, and aphakic patients with glaucoma,Some patients with secondary glaucoma.
Patients with narrow angles and a history of spontaneous or iatrogenically caused narrow-angle closure in the opposite eye, for whom intraocular pressure reduction is required.
