The equipment is divided into two main modules:
Loading unit (left): This is a high-current loading unit, model LU1000 MK2. It is designed to generate high currents up to 1000 Amps via its heavy-duty top terminals for copper busbars or large cross-section cables.
100ADM-D Filter Control unit (right): This is the portable control box (often coupled with the PCU1 series system). It features regulation selectors, signal terminals, and a carrying strap.
Main Function: nThis setup is used for primary current injection testing. Its purpose is to inject a high-intensity current directly into the primary circuit to simulate overload or short-circuit conditions. This verifies the correct operation of the entire protection system, including current transformers (CTs), protection relays, and power circuit breakers.
