The Ideal 61-796 Earth Ground Resistance Tester allows professional electricians to perform soil resistivity and ground rod resistance tests in order to determine grounding requirements in three ranges - 20/200/2000 Ω, using 3-poles. It features a microprocessor control at 820Hz, 2mA to completely automate procedures and will not trip ground fault breakers for tested circuits. The tester can measure earth voltage up to 200 V AC in a 40-500Hz range with an accuracy of 2% or 0.1 Ω for resistance and 1% for voltage. This device has an LCD screen, autoranging, automatic connection recognition, data hold, over range indication, and low battery indication. It requires eight 1.5V AA batteries.
