PPG Sigma Vikote 56 is a one component, modified acrylic gloss finish for internal or external surfaces above water level, including metal, wood, plastic and concrete, if they have been covered with a suitable undercoat.
PPG Sigma Vikote 56 is water and mild chemical splash resistant so is ideal for use in the marine environment. It resists weathering, retains its gloss and colour and can be used on all surfaces with a chlorinated rubber, vinyl or acrylic coating.
Sigma Vikote 56 can be applied at low temperatures and is available in white, black and most decorative colours.
Application (at 20C):
Stir well before use
Apply with brush, roller or spray
Touch dry: 30 minutes
Recoatable: 4 hours
Coverage: 10m2 per litre at 35 microns
Volume solids: 35%
Recommended dry film thickness: 35 microns per coat
Recommended thinner: 21-06
