Part-Time

A waitress greets guests warmly, seats them when needed, and presents menus with a friendly professional manner. She takes accurate food and beverage orders, notes special requests, allergies, or preferences, and relays them clearly to the kitchen and bar. Throughout the meal she delivers courses on time, refills drinks, clears table, and checks guest satisfaction.

A high-school diploma or equivalent is usually required; prior customer-service or food-service experience is preferred. Applicants must meet the legal working age (often 18+ if alcohol is served) Physical stamina is essential for long hours of standing, walking, and carrying trays.

Most waitress positions require a high-school diploma. Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred but not always mandatory. Candidates must be of legal age, physically able to stand and lift trays for long shifts, and demonstrate reliable, professional work habits.
