Coco coir (Coir pith or Coco peat) is a versatile organic growing medium made from 100% natural and sustainable coir fiber harvested from coconut outer shells. We supply odorless, pathogen-free coco coir of consistent quality that is produced using the most sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing methods. Coir pith is thoroughly washed with clean water, and a quality check for low EC and neutral pH range is performed. In comparison to peat moss, coco coir is more environmentally friendly, with natural disease resistance, and it also provides excellent water retention and aeration to your plants. The fact that coco peat is completely reusable adds to its environmental value. It can be cleaned and strained after being used to grow plants in one pot, making it as good as new. This primary advantage is a cost-cutting measure.
