DJI has just unveiled the Osmo Mobile 8P smartphone gimbal has a detachable remote, with a touchscreen that mirrors the view from your phone. The remote has a joystick on it too, giving you great flexibility to control the device from a distance and perfectly frame your shots while using your phone's rear cameras.
The Osmo Mobile 8P comes with ActiveTrack 8.0, which "delivers even more agile subject tracking" to keep you in frame even when you're part of a complex crowd. Using Apple DockKit, you can also connect your iPhone directly to the gimbal.
The Osmo Mobile 8P has a 3-axis gimbal, a built-in tripod, and a 215mm extension rod. The tripod opens wider for enhanced stability. The Osmo Mobile 8P weighs 386g and has 10-hour battery life from its 3,350 mAh battery.
