A tie rod washer is a crucial fastener, often a flat plate (washer plate/waller plate) or locking claw, used with tie rods in construction (formwork, shoring) to distribute pressure, prevent loosening/damage, and add stability by spreading load from the rod onto surfaces like concrete forms or structures. For vehicle steering, a specific lock washer (washer claw) secures the inner tie rod to the rack, preventing it from coming loose.
