A tie rod washer (or washer plate) is a heavy-duty, flat, square, or circular steel plate featuring a central hole, designed to distribute clamping loads evenly across formwork, preventing timber wale damage. These, often galvanized or cast-iron components, ensure stability by securing tie rods, particularly under high-pressure concrete pouring.
