Loctite 271 High Strength Threadlocker is a
red, low-viscosity, methacrylate-based anaerobic adhesive designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners up to 1 inch (25 mm) in size. It cures in the absence of air between close- fitting metal surfaces to prevent loosening, leaks, and corrosion caused by heavy shock and vibration.
