International Intertuf 16 is an anti-corrosive coating used to protect interior and enclosed steel surfaces. its primary targeted applications include: 1. Marine & Hull Applications • Enclosed Ship Spaces: Economical protection for voids, cofferdams, and enclosed steel framing where aesthetic finishes are unnecessary. • Seawater Tanks: Direct lining protection inside dedicated seawater storage tanks. • Inland Waterway Vessels (Narrowboat Blacking): Commonly used as a sacrificial bottom coat (hull blacking) below the waterline to protect narrowboats and barges from continuous freshwater immersion. 2. Industrial & Infrastructure Applications • Immersed Piping: Corrosive protection for underground, buried, or permanently submerged piping networks. • Structural Steelwork: Applied to structural metal foundations, pilings etc.
