Callington S-Weld Passivator is a powerful oxidizing gel used for passivating stainless steel, duplex steel, and Inconel alloy surfaces. Product Details • Purpose: Passivates stainless steel surfaces to restore the protective chromium oxide layer and dissolve residual surface contamination. • Application: Applied after pickling, grinding, or mechanical polishing. • Contact Time: Leave on the surface for 1 to 6 hours depending on the application and grade of stainless steel (as shown on the label instructions). • Removal: Rinse thoroughly with water.
