. Our door uses a reinforced steel frame with a solid, dense core. Crowbars, kicks and shoulder charges don't weaken it the way they do a hollow double door.
Multi-point locking. Instead of one lock on each door, you get several bolts locking into the frame at once. There's no gap to pry and no weak middle joint, which is the first place burglars attack on double doors.
Sound-proof, which is also a security feature. Intruders can't hear you inside, but just as importantly, nobody outside can listen for your routines, your generator, or whether the house is empty.
Fewer parts, fewer failures. Two doors mean double the hinges, locks and alignment problem
Better value. A double door setup often costs the same or more once you add two locks, two frames and installation, and you still end up with less security.
