It is designed to give early warning of developing fires by giving off the alarm sounds from its built in buzzer. It can provide precious time for you and your family to escape before fire spreads This upgraded version uses 1.5vAA ALKALINE BATTERY which last longer than normal 9v batteries and which is also cheaper for replacement. It also have HUSH FUNCTION for silencing the alarm.
