The lighters comes with Imported Piezo-electric crystal. Piezo-electric crystal has a property to generate voltage when it is mechanically deformed. It generates high voltage across a spark gap which when in proximity to a gas would ignite it.
The Sparks Gas Lighter is an ever lasting lighter, Gas lighters work by a piezoelectric effect. There is a special class of materials called piezoelectric crystals, which exhibit the effect. Finished in corrosion resistant matt stainless steel, the lighter is easy to operate. No refill needed.
