A vertical lifting clamp is a specialized rigging device for safely lifting, moving, and rotating steel plates and constructions from horizontal to vertical (and vice versa) by gripping them with jaws, increasing grip as weight increases, and often featuring a locking mechanism for secure upright handling, preventing slips and reducing manual strain. They are robust, made from alloy steel, and designed for upright lifting, unlike horizontal clamps, allowing for efficient control of heavy materials.
