A DPM nylon is a construction material referring to a Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) made from a thick, heavy-duty polythene (plastic) sheeting. Its primary function is to serve as an impermeable barrier against moisture and water vapor rising from the ground, thereby protecting the building's foundation and interior from dampness.
