A Network Module (also called a keystone jack or data module) is a small but essential component used in structured cabling systems to connect and organize network cables, especially Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6A cables.
What a Network Module Does
It acts as a termination point for Ethernet cables. Instead of plugging a cable directly into devices, the cable is terminated into the module, and then a short patch cord is used to connect devices.
