Bypass Your Chime: If you have an existing mechanical chime, you must use the included jumper cable to bypass it, as this doorbell will only ring through the included Ring Chime.
Wiring: Connect your existing doorbell wires to the two terminals on the back of the Ring unit; the order of the wires does not matter.
Mounting: Secure the doorbell to your wall with the provided mounting screws.
