This Universal Weatherproof CCTV camera junction box (deep base mount). It is designed as a surface-mount enclosure for installing surveillance security cameras on walls or ceilings.
Uses and functions include:
Housing and Cable Management: It provides a hollow internal compartment to cleanly hide and store bulky video connectors (like BNC connections).
Universal Camera Mounting: The multi-hole arrangement on the top cover features prefabricated still patterns that align with the bases of most dome, bullet, and acting as a sturdy direct-mounting bracket.
Weather and Environmental Protection: It acts as a shield to isolate electrical wiring from outdoor elements like rain, dust, preventing signal corruption or shorts.
Clean Wire Routing: The large central hole allows cabling to pass straight from the camera base into the box etc.
