Experienced Excavator Operator – 1 Position

Responsibilities Operate excavator safely and efficiently for quarry material loading, stockpile management, and site preparation Perform daily pre-start inspections, routine maintenance checks, and basic troubleshooting (engine oil, hydraulic fluid, grease points, track tension) Report any mechanical faults or abnormal performance to the maintenance team promptly Maintain a clean and organized work area around the excavator Follow all site safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times Work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and public holidays as required by production schedules

Requirements & Skills Minimum 5 years of hands-on excavator operation experience, preferably in quarry, mining, or heavy civil construction environments Proven ability to operate 20-ton class and above excavators (e.g., CAT 320, Komatsu PC200, or similar) Solid knowledge of daily excavator maintenance: greasing, fluid checks, filter replacements, and basic wear-part inspection Ability to identify early warning signs of mechanical issues (unusual sounds, vibrations, hydraulic leaks) Hardworking, reliable, and able to work extended shifts with minimal supervision Good communication skills; English and Hausa required Valid operator certification or training certificate is an advantage

Minimum Qualification SSCE / Trade Test Certificate / Vocational Training Valid excavator operator license or equivalent certification preferred
