The Fluke 707 Loop Calibrator is designed for calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting 4–20 mA current loops used in industrial process control systems. Its main duties include: Measure 4–20 mA signals from transmitters and sensors. Source (generate) 4–20 mA signals to test PLCs, DCS systems, indicators, and controllers. Simulate a transmitter output without disconnecting the control system. Provide 24 V loop power for testing two-wire transmitters. Perform step and ramp tests to verify control valve and controller response. Display current in mA and percentage (%) for easy calibration. Troubleshoot instrumentation faults in process loops.
