This agricultural chemical contains 20% Diquat dichloride (SL) as its active ingredient. It is formulated for the total control of stubborn annual and perennial grasses, sedges, and broad-leaved weeds. It works strictly on contact, disrupting cell membranes and inhibiting photosynthesis in any green plant tissue it touches without leaving residual soil or water activity. Beyond general land clearing, it is commonly utilized as a desiccant to dry out potato vines or manage the flowering stages of sugarcane.
