What it’s used for:
It’s an integral waterproofing admixture. You add it directly into concrete/mortar mix, not on the surface.
1. Prevents Seepage/Damp - Main job
Mixed into concrete for water tanks, foundations, basements, bathrooms, parapets, roof slabs. Blocks capillaries in concrete so water can’t seep through.
2. Strength Enhancer
Label says it improves compressive strength of concrete/mortar. So you get waterproofing + stronger concrete.
3. Anti-Corrosion
Protects steel reinforcement bars inside concrete from rust. Water + oxygen cause rebar rust → concrete spalls/cracks. This slows that down.
