Synchronised Panel
Nau'i
A synchronisation panel is an electrical control panel used to connect two or more generators (or a generator with the grid) so they operate together safely and share the electrical load. It ensures that the generators match before connection. Main Purpose The panel checks and adjusts these four important parameters before closing the breaker: Voltage – Generator voltage must be equal to the busbar voltage. Frequency – Generator frequency must match the system frequency (usually 50 Hz). Phase sequence – The order of the phases (R-Y-B) must be the same. Phase angle – The waveform must be aligned. If these are not equal, connecting the generator can damage the generator, breaker, or transformer.
