MAIN USES Concrete roof slabs and screeds — Adds waterproofing to flat roofs and floor toppings. Floor screeds in bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, and other damp/wet areas — Prevents water seepage through floors. Basement slabs and walls — Protects against groundwater or rising damp. External and internal plastering — Improves plaster strength, reduces cracks, and makes walls damp-proof. Water tanks, sumps, and retaining structures — Enhances water-tightness when plastering or concreting these. General concrete/mortar applications — For better workability, reduced shrinkage, stronger bonds, and overall durability in building projects. It's commonly added during mixing to create crack-free, leak-resistant structures—very useful for fighting common Nigerian building issues like heavy rains causing wall dampness or weak plaster.
