The DET3TD Digital earth resistance tester is ideal for basic requirements as it provides digital ground testing and bond test capabilities. Similar to the DET3TC, this instrument comes with a complete kit: instrument, test leads, stakes, batteries, calibration certificate, and a tough polypropylene carry case. As with the DET3TC, the DET3TD is easy to use, with the earth rod tester rated to IP54, making it a hardy outdoor instrument. Using the optional clamp around the earth rod connection allows the testing of the rod without the need for disconnection, leaving the earthing system intact during testing (ART). A large, clear, easy-to-read LCD display and thumb-sized test button also makes the instrument particularly suited outdoor conditions.
