Electronic Typewriter: Unlike older mechanical typewriters (where pressing a key physically throws a metal bar against the paper) or electric typewriters (which use a motor to drive mechanical parts), an electronic typewriter relies on internal circuitry and a digital microchip to control the typing mechanism.
Daisy Wheel Technology: The box specifically highlights a "Daisy Wheel" graphic. A daisy wheel is a circular, interchangeable plastic or metal disc with petals. At the end of each petal is a molded character (letter, number, or symbol). When you press a key, the wheel spins incredibly fast to the correct character, and a small hammer strikes it against the ink ribbon onto the paper.
