The SM-8B condenser recording microphone has almost the same shape as other traditional condenser microphones, with a typical cylindrical shape and unidirectional pickup pattern. The entire microphone body is compact and very sturdy, made with a machined all-metal nickel-plated housing for greater durability to better maintain a clean and neat configuration and work efficiency over extended periods of use. The compact internal audio circuit design makes the microphone shorter than similar products in height. Nevertheless, the mic still performs well in all professional recording environments by recording a very natural tone with professional sound space and detailed audio texture.
