The Microsoft Display Dock HD‐500 is a docking station/accessory designed primarily for Windows 10 Mobile phones such as the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. When connected via USB‐C to a compatible phone, it enables Microsoft’s Continuum feature — allowing the phone to output a desktop‐like interface to an external display How it works When a supported smartphone is plugged into the Display Dock and the dock is connected to power and a monitor, the phone’s display is mirrored or extended to the external screen. With USB peripherals attached, you can operate the phone in a more traditional desktop manner using Continuum.
