Compact rotary hammer for drilling fastening holes and small through holes, thanks to the impact stop also suitable for drilling in wood and metal (with optional drill head). Reversing bridge with symmetric carbon brush shifting provides maximum torque for left-hand circulation and longer life of carbon brushes. Pressure loss system prevents the operation of the hammer mechanism at zero load and thus protects machine and user. Torque limiter protects motor and user when locked. All-round swivel side handle with adjustable depth stop. Under the brand Makita MT, Makita designs and manufactures inexpensive machines that do not deliver the same performance as comparable Makita models, but are nonetheless very solid and excellent for less intensive professional use.
