The children will use the pen to write,draw or shade. When they are done,there is a button they will press and everything will wipe off.
If you don't want the eraser function,you can switch it off so that you will monitor what was written.
The pen does not finish o. Even if it goes missing,you can use any pointed thing with a blunt surface to write.
